Jet fuel price competitive locally – Forte Oil boss

Several airline operators in the country had claimed that the product goes for between N162 and N165 per liter depending on the marketer and the litres of fuel being purchased by such airlines.
However while speaking with aviation journalists at the unveiling of additional aircraft by the management of Med-View Airline at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, MMA, Lagos earlier in the week, Akinfenwa noted that the product had been deregulated in the country. He added that the product at the moment was being sold for N130 per litre to the airlines.
He said, “I can tell you that aviation fuel is internationally priced and don’t forget that it is one of the products that have been deregulated in Nigeria. The price is competitive and goes for about N130 per litre in the local market.”
