Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, To Delete Unregistered 2017/2018 HND Newly Admitted Students
The Registrar of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Barr. B.M. Salawu has reiterated that candidates admitted into Higher National Diploma (HND1) for 2017/2018 academic session of the Institution who fail to complete their registration by 12 noon of Thursday 7th December, 2017 would loose their offer of provisional admission for various programmes in the Institution. The Registrar according to a release signed by the Media Relations Officer of the Institution,maintained that Management of the Institution has given the students a long rope to pool since they have resumed about two months ago. Barr. Salawu said authorities of the Polytechnic had been magnanimous enough to have given the candidates the opportunity to pay the School Fees twice by paying a minimum of N34,000 to enable them complete their registration, but some of the students are adamant and refused to do the registration. It would be recalled that the new candidates were given the mandate of payment and registration till 24th November,2017 which they refused to carry out. The Registrar through this release however stressed that any candidate who refuses to do the registration on the stipulated date above should consider his/her provisional admission withdrawn and prepare to re -apply when the admission is available subsequently or opt for other Institutions.
