Yobe State University, YSU Diploma Admission Form for 2017/2018 Academic Session Now Available For Sale
Yobe State University, YSU diploma programme admission form for the 2017/2018 academic session is now on sale. The management of the Yobe State University (YSU) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Diploma programmes of the institution for the 2017/2018 academic session. YSU DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES. 2-YEAR DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SCIENCE 2-YEAR DIPLOMA IN ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY 2-YEAR DIPLOMA IN NATURAL RESOURCES MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL 2-YEAR DIPLOMA IN SHARI’A & CIVIL LAW 2-YEAR DIPLOMA IN ARABIC & ISLAMIC STUDIES 2-YEAR DIPLOMA IN CRIME MANAGEMENT, PREVENTION AND CONTROL 2-YEAR DIPLOMA IN SOCIAL POLICY & ADMINISTRATION YSU DIPLOMA ADMISSION ENTRY REQUIREMENTS. Candidates must pass three relevant O’ Level subjects at credit level in WASSCE, SSCE, GCE or their equivalent in examinations administered by WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, NBAIS or cognate bodies at not more than two sittings. Note: To qualify for Degree programme at Yobe State University Damaturu, graduates of our Diploma programmes must remedy their O’ Level deficiencies. Candidates are enjoined to do so during the period of the Diploma studies so as to obtain the minimum entry requirement for degree programme of five O’ Level credits in relevant subjects.

Buhari now in London – Adesina
Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari, has said his principal arrived the United Kingdom safely. Buhari departed New York earlier on Thursday where he attended the 72nd United Nations General Assembly. The Presidency had hinted before President Buhari left the country that he would travel through London on his way back from New York. Although the reason for the stopover is uncertain, Adesina told Channels Television that the trip would not exceed its scheduled timeframe. “One thing is sure; the trip was to last between last Sunday and next Sunday/Monday. “Though he is going to the UK, everything will still be done within the timeframe of the trip,” Adesina had said. While in the US, President Buhari addressed the gathering of world leaders at the UN General Assembly and also had lunch with President Donald Trump. He had assured the international community of Nigeria’s firm and unshaken commitment to democracy and the African continent. The President had also asked the world leaders present at the gathering to cooperate and support the United Nations in order to overcome growing global threats including terrorism, modern-day slavery and cybercrime.

UPDATE – ACEONDO 2017/2018 NCE Full-Time Post-UTME Screening Exercise Announced
Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified candidates for admission into Adeyemi College Of Education, Ondo State Nigerian Certificate In Education (NCE) full-time programme for 2017/2018 academic session. ELIGIBILITY Candidates who chose Adeyemi College Of Education as their First Choice and scored a Minimum of 150 marks in JAMB 2017 UTME Examination. NOTE Qualified candidates who did not make Adeyemi College of Education their Institution of First Choice can still do so by applying to JAMB for change of institution. METHOD OF APPLICATION Candidates are to visit http://aceondo.net to register for the screening exercise after the payment of the sum of N2,000.00 (two thousand naira only), via etranzact or Remita at any commercial bank. You can also pay online using your debit or credit card. Once payment is confirmed, candidates are to: 1. Visit http://aceondo.net 2. Fill the online form carefully and correctly as editing is not allowed once the application form is submitted. 3. Upload a clear passport photograph not more than 50kb which must be JPEG or JPG with no eye glasses or veil. 4. Upload your SSCE (WAEC / NECO/ NABTEB) and NCE results where applicable. 5. Ensure that all fields in the form are completely filled. 6. Cross-check your entries properly. 7. Submit your application form. 8. Print out the Post UTME Test Slip POST UTME APTITUDE TEST After the online screening exercise, candidates found prima facie qualified will be notified via text messages as well as e-mails, and invited for a CBT Aptitude Test in the College. The printed Post UTME slip would indicate the conditions, date, batch and time of the Aptitude Test. Candidates are advised to provide personal and active e-mail addresses and phone numbers to which their scores will be sent. The College will not take responsibility for failure to get information as a result of invalid e-mail addresses and wrong/ non- functional phone numbers.
