‘The Attempt To Wipe Out The Igbo Race By Buhari Shall Fail’ – Femi Fani-kayode
Former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has said efforts by President Buhari to wipe out the Igbo race shall fail. According to him, ‘the attempt to break, subjugate and wipe out the Igbo race through the auspices of ethnic cleansing by Buhari shall fail. This is not about IPOB but about an irrational and pathological hatred of Igbos. If he gets away with it he will come after the rest of us!’.
‘Why Buhari Is Determined To Kill All Igbos’ – MASSOB
MASSOB National Director of Information, Samuel Edeson, made the claim while insisting that Buhari harbours hatred for people of the South East. The pro-Biafra group also claimed that the Buhari-led government wants to use the exercise to kill the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu. In an interview with the Punch, Edeson said: “Operation Python Dance, also known as ‘Egwu Eke,’ is a ploy by the Federal Government of Nigeria, led by President Muhammadu Buhari, a Fulani man, to wipe out the Igbo from the face of the earth. “It is simply a means for him to express his hatred for the Igbo. All the while, we have been complaining that Buhari hates Ndigbo. Now, the hatred is clear for everyone to see. It is glaring to everybody now. Before he came up with Operation Python Dance, there was no crisis in the South-East. The region was peaceful. “It is unfortunate that he sent soldiers to the South-East without the approval or consent of the National Assembly. Ordinarily, that is an impeachable offence. But Buhari did it because he wants to kill our people. “Even at that, when you say you are launching Operation Python Dance, why did they go to Nnamdi Kanu’s house? ” Since they say it is ‘python dance’, they should be dancing in the streets; and whoever gets close to them, they will have a reason to engage that person. Operation Python Dance is nothing other than a well-planned arrangement to eliminate the Igbo. Edeson insisted that the action of Soldiers in the South East was premeditated and not as a result of provocation from IPOB members. “There is nothing like a provocation. The soldiers’ actions were premeditated. They acted according to instructions. When you are engaged in ‘python dance’, you don’t have to take your dance to somebody’s house; you dance on the streets. “The python is not supposed to dance in somebody’s house. The soldiers have no business invading Kanu’s house. In Igbo land, we don’t live Source: NL
”Don’t Let Nigeria Die For Your Hand” – Charly Boy Writes ”Disturbing” Letter To Buhari
As written by Charly Boy… My president, I bear my heart out in this letter with great respect and humility. Often times I wonder if you read any of my open letters. However, I write this open letter so fellow Nigerians will understand the ache in my heart. I was about 17yrs during the Nigerian civil war. My youth was scandalized, and since then, I have carried a big scar in my heart. All I saw around me then, was blood, death, and hunger. That war, which could have been avoided was a collateral damage for easterners. Over Three million people died – when it could have been resolved on a conference table. Mr. President Sir, Most Nigerians, are hopeless, helpless, fearful, aggrieved and have been brutalized by poverty created by the status quo to terrorize my people. When you came on board I had hoped that yours would be a government that would assist the ordinary people; a government that will turn round the economy and put a smile on the faces of Nigerians. No, I don’t blame you for the woes that have befallen us, but, truth be told, you have so far spent too much time passing the buck than actually serving the people you struggled to lead. Two years is enough for us to start feeling like something would happen. I can’t believe that as hard and as many times as you applied for this job and you finally got it, this is the best you can do? Haba, baba! Now you can see the disadvantage of surrounding yourself with incompetent people. I remember it was your wife who first cried out, warned us that you have been hijacked by the hyenas, jackals, and very suspicious people who don’t really care about Nigeria or you. Sir, as a father, please do something to calm down this rising tension. As a father, it is very wrong to show your children that you have a favorite. Right now, it is clear that we are in a Big Mess. And sometimes I wonder if you understand how difficult it is for the masses to cope. People even from your village have complained to us (OurMumuDonDo movement); From Sokoto to Owerri, Benue to Delta, hunger everywhere, young people committing suicide, yet the legislators and executives still maintain their obnoxious lifestyle. There is so much I want to say as a very frustrated Nigerian, but for now what’s uppermost in my heart is to plead with you to intervene in this “Operation Python Dance” Biko Baba, you should be committed to dousing tensions and promoting peace and unity. Inasmuch as I am aware that the Federal Government is concerned about curbing divisive messages and inordinate agitations within the country, I believe it should be more concerned about safeguarding the lives and properties of all Nigerians in any part of the country. It is also important to note that though recanted, the October 1 ultimatum issued by some misguided northern youths to the Igbos in the north remains weighty in the minds of many and the atmosphere is hypersensitive to any mishap that could foment such inter ethnic wahala. Sir, suffering Nigerians are begging you to quell this tension than steaming up the flames of enmity and discord within the country by using force on harmless citizens. During The Resume or Resign peaceful protest, Baba, you listened, and that’s why you came back. On behalf of all frustrated, hopeless, unsafe, hungry Nigerians I beg you, hear our prayer. As a Father show some compassion and give us hope that this too shall pass away. I am proud to say that am discovering exceptional youths who are inflamed by love of fatherland, angered at the rape of our dignity and prosperity, determined to rise up and hold one another, to march down and uphold the dignity and prosperity of all Nigerians. Baba, make Naija no spoil for your hand O!!!!!! God Bless Nigeria.
Biafra: Presidency Responds To Obasanjo’s Call On Buhari To Meet With Nnamdi Kanu
The Nigerian presidency has replied former president Olusegun Obasanjo over his call on President Buhari to meet with the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu. Speaking to journalists on Saturday, the president’s special adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina had this to say about Obasanjo’s advice; “It is an opinion that he has proffered and when you proffer an opinion, it is not a law or a rule”, he said. “It is now left for the person who was given the advice to consider it.” It will be recalled that Nnamdi Kanu has not been seen or heard from ever since the Nigerian military stormed his residence in Afara-Ukwu, Umuahia, Abia state. Findings by PoliticsNGR reveal that Kanu might still be in Abia state but in hiding.
Update!! ASUU Set To Call Off Strike This Week (Read Details)
The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) may call off its one-month old strike this week. President of the Union, Prof. Biodun Ogunyemi, has disclosed the industrial action has not ended yet, because ASUU was still ironing out some grey areas in the agreement with the federal government. Ogunyemi assured the strike would be called off, as soon as the grey areas were resolved. “We are still trying to iron out some grey areas with the government. Once we finish doing that, we will address the press,” he told The Nation. ASUU’s leadership had another meeting with the Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, last Friday to report the decisions of its members in accordance with the agreements between both parties. At a conciliatory meeting with government, the union had agreed to go back to its members, to take a decision on the offer of government and revert back with a view to calling off or suspending the strike. “Most of these issues stemmed from the 2009 agreement that government had ASUU and also from the 2013 Memorandum of Understanding that the government had with ASUU. “Government is a continuum. Most of those issues were not issues that cropped up from the Buhari administration, we inherited them. “Based on these discussions, ASUU leadership will consult with its organs and revert back to government within one week. “They will consult with their organs with a view to calling off the strike. And we expect them to do that within one week, they will get back to government. “These are the highlights of the meeting and I can tell you that the meeting took place in very cordial atmosphere,” Ngige told newsmen after the meeting.

[A Must Know] – 5 Things Android Phones Can Do iOS Can’t Do
The debate on which is the better operating system between the iOS and Android operating system is a debate that will probably never be concluded, it’s just like that of Messi & Ronaldo or like that of Wizkid & Davido 😀 However, it is impossible to deny some of the impressive features that the Android operating system offers. 1. It’s Affordable Buying an Android device is unlikely to devastate your bank account, and for that afford-ability remains an attractive option to many. With varieties of devices, designs and specs, Android devices really have something to suit every budget range and offers a true and enjoyable smartphone experience. Android’s affordability is what has driven and continues to drive its worldwide dominance. 2. It Allows Customization Another strong feature of Android devices is the fact that it allows customization. Unlike most Apple devices, Android devices let you choose any level of customization you want and this flexibility is what really appeals to most smart phone users. This is because many smart phone users generally tend to want to explore the limits of their devices, and they typically like having the ability to freely customize and play around with features and design of their phones. 3. It Allows For Multi-Tasking Some might argue that iOS devices also allow multi-tasking, but what they cannot deny is that the level of multi-tasking that iOS devices support, does not come anywhere near the level of multi-tasking some Android phones offer. Samsung phones are a good examples of Android phones that have great multi-tasking features. This is one area that Apple is more or less playing catch-up to Android devices. 4. Its Seamless Integration With Google’s Services Android devices integrate seamlessly with Google’s varieties of services, and this works just great because Google is largely considered the ‘king of the web’. Apple and iOS doesn’t seem to be able to keep up in this area, and have had to yield to accommodating more Google services on their platform. Unfortunately, the seamless integration enjoyed between Android devices and Google services, is not replicated in the integration of iOS and Google services. 5. There are Widgets! With widgets you can ‘see all the information you need at a glance’ without having to open an app. Widgets are a major advantage Android devices have over iOS devices, mainly because even with Apple’s recent launch of widgets on their iOS devices, it still remains very limited on iOS compared to the widgets of Android devices that are more unbounded and offer more varieties. We hope you all enjoyed this? Drop your comments lets hear from you. Source; Damilola Ojo | PR Associate Jumia Travel
