Caraboa Cup – Manchester United 4-1 Burton Albion (RESULT)
Marcus Rashford scored twice as holders Manchester United overpowered Burton Albion at Old Trafford to reach the fourth round of the Carabao Cup. Championship Burton made nine changes and were 1-0 down when Rashford dinked the ball over keeper Connor Ripley. England forward Rashford made it 2-0 with a 20-yard finish before Jesse Lingard’s deflected shot found the net. Anthony Martial added the fourth from a Rashford assist, Lloyd Dyer scoring a stoppage time consolation.
