Felabration 2017 To Hold October 9th – October 15th, Theme: The Legend is coming

Nigeria’s fastest growing stout brand, Legend Extra Stout will be joining millions of Nigerians to celebrate the life and times of Nigeria’s foremost musical icon, the late Fela Anikulapo Kuti at this year’s Felabration. The annual festival which kicks off on Monday, October, 9 will run for one week and end on Sunday, October 15; which coincides with Fela’s birthday. This year’s festival is themed “The Prophecy”. Felabration has been listed amongst the Fest300 Festivals 2017 and has grown into a huge week long musical event in Nigeria. The festival attracts thousands of visitors annually from all over the world to the New Africa Shrine and is an official tourist destination of The Lagos State Government. Legend Extra Stout’s support for the festival is aimed at reinforcing the brand’s ideal and quality. UPDATE – LASU 2017/2018 Admission Screening Exercise Closing Date Extended

This is to inform the general public especially candidates seeking admission into Lagos State University, Ojo that the management has extended the online admission screening exercise deadline for 2017/2018 academic session. The deadline was extended In order for Candidates with outstanding issues to complete their registration and allow for new UTME Candidates, who have recently changed their first choice of institution to the Lagos State University, to process their registration,the Lagos State University Management has approved one-week extension of the 2017/2018 Online Admission Screening Exercise. By this extension, the closing date for the Lagos State University 2017/2018 Online Admission Screening Exercise is now Friday, 22nd September, 2017, as against Friday 15th September, 2017, initially announced. Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade seems to be on a roll as she takes on yet another movie project. There seems to be no stopping the talented actress since her return to the big screens after her 3 years hiatus. The screen goddess who recently blew our minds in her come-back movie ‘Alter Ego’ and whose exceptional performance in her just released movie ‘Tribunal’ thrilled us beyond norms has embarked on yet another movie journey titled ‘Shadow Parties’ a movie directed by the respected filmmaker Yemi Amodu. Dotted with love and inter-communal marriages, “Shadow Parties” encapsulates the endless political intrigues that would later transform into blood business of arms and ammunition and of course the killings of innocent residents. Omotola Jalade recently met with the brilliant Yemi Amodu to sign the contract of the new movie in Ikeja.
