Federal Poly, Idah 2017/2018 ND Post-UTME Admission Screening Announced

Applications are welcomed from suitably qualified Post-UTME candidates for admission into The Federal Polytechnic, Idah National Diploma (ND) programmes for 2017/2018 academic session. ELIGIBILITY All candidates who took the Federal Polytechnic, Idah as their Institution of choice and obtained the minimum cut- off mark/score of 140 in the 2017/2018 UTME and also have the required relevant credit passes as contained in the JAMB brochure are eligible. PROCEDURE FOR SCREENING EXERCISE Candidates are expected to make a payment of two thousand, five hundred naira (N2,500.00) only, bank charges inclusive. Candidates are advised to visit The Federal Polytechnic, Idah website, i.e. http://ift.tt/2hAXnaj follow the steps below to make payment on-line, fill their details and print out the screening slip: *click on “Screening Payment” *Fill the form with valid e-mail address and password containing at least eight (8) characters in alphabets and numbers and print out the Payment Invoice with Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR). Take the printed Payment Invoice to any Bank for the payment (N2,500.00), using Remita. FUTA STUDENTS UNION GET NEW BUS

The management of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) has donated a 15 seater bus to the Students Union for the efficient running of its activities within and outside the campus. While commissioning the bus, the Vice Chancellor Professor Adebiyi Daramola commended the out gone administration of the union led by Mr Olusegun Oladele for their resilience, tenacity and maturity in handling the affairs of the union during their tenure. The Vice Chancellor said their leadership style had great impact on the comportment of the student body, who despite the lingering crisis in the school conducted themselves with the utmost decorum. Daramola admonished the incoming Union officials to emulate the previous administration by engaging responsible unionism in order to properly steer the affairs of the union. The Vice chancellor while urging Nigerians to use indigenous products disclosed that the bus was made in Nigeria by Innoson Group of Companies.
On his part, the Dean of Students Affairs, Professor Kayode Alese lauded the Vice chancellor for making the welfare of the students top priority. According to him, Daramola has left indelible marks in the lives of the students and his administration will not be forgotten for its magnanimity to them. Alese urged them to make judicious use of the bus and handle it with care.
The Student’s Union President Mr Adeyinka Olasehinde assured the university management of his unalloyed support and promised to give exemplary leadership to the students.
